About

Andrew J. Holman MD is CEO and Co-founder of Seattle -based Inmedix Inc., and its subsidiary Inmedix UK, Ltd., as well as a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington and past-President of the Northwest Rheumatism Society. He offers a storied history of discovering medical value in his clinical research beginning with the discovery and validation of Parkinson's disease medications as a method to reduce global pan in patients with fibromyalgia (FM). His studies demonstrated the greatest pain reduction (10 mm VAS) to date in any randomized, controlled FM trial and the accompanying international patent portfolio was sold to Boehringer-Ingelheim.

His current Inmedix project is to bring 5-min, ECG-based, precision heart rate variability (HRV), currently also licensed for professional sports (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, etc.) and US Special Forces training, through the FDA for point-of-care clinical applications. The effort is supported by 20 years of research in Seattle and Finland with 9 Inmedix clinical studies (302 patients).

Dr. Holman splits his time between Seattle and Maine and has interests in creative writing, horsemanship, golf and vintage passenger rail cars (Private Varnish).
